Walnut, the Woolly Mammoth

This pattern has been on my list for a while and I specifically wanted to make it so I could use the slicker dog brush technique to make the yarn fuzzy. The pattern comes with instructions to make a little caveperson but I just wanted the cute mammoth! His original name is Mik, but he looked more like a Mr. Walnut to me!

Pattern: Storyland Amis (she always has some great sales going on and her patterns are the cutest!)
Yarn: Premier Yarns, Deborah Noriclle Collection in Heather (I couldn't find a link, so I am assuming it is no longer being made.)





He is so adorable and soft! He also worked up rather quickly... he would be a nice weekend project.
