This weekend I decided I wanted a, what I like to call, "start and finish" project- something I could start on Saturday and finish by Sunday evening (and still get all my chores and errands done). So I researched tiny amigurumis and came across
Tokki Crochet, who has the cutest little amigurumis! For this project, I used cotton DK yarn, 6mm safety eyes, and some embroidery floss for the details.
I used real eyeshadow for the cheeks (technically, most people use chalk pastels but since I don't have any, why not be a bit creative?). I had so much fun making this elephant- I think I'll do a lot more of these weekend "start and finish" projects!
