Last year I watched Pixar's Soul and fell in love with the movie! I came up with the idea of crocheting Joe's soul using glow in the dark yarn; however, I only found super fine yarn and that wouldn't yield what I had in mind for the final product. So, I used Paintbox Cotton DK and the glow in the dark fingering yarn together and these are the results....

This weekend I decided I wanted a, what I like to call, "start and finish" project- something I could start on Saturday and finish by Sunday evening (and still get all my chores and errands done). So I researched tiny amigurumis and came across Tokki Crochet, who has the cutest little amigurumis! For this project, I used cotton DK yarn, 6mm safety eyes, and some embroidery floss for the details. 

It's been a while since I picked up a crochet hook! This year has been quite the year. The latest Supreme Court decision regarding Roe v. Wade inspired me to work on this quick project. The original pattern had a smiley face...but women are not smiling right now.
